Gary Neville has been a great servant to Manchester United and is still proving to be so after his playing days are over. The pundit is known for his passionate talks when it comes to Manchester United and he has always supported the Red Devils. In his latest talk with Stadium Astro, Neville has predicted the Premier League table for the next season.
Manchester United finished third last season in the Premier League table even after being in mid-table in December. January signing Bruno Fernandes changed the fortunes of the Red Devils and helped them qualify for the Champions League next season. Since restart, United have gone on to become one of the best teams in the world, losing only two games.
In his latest talk, Neville talked about his Premier League prediction and said: “I’m going to go Man City, Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea, but that’s with a little bit of hope rather than science!” He also added: “Finishing third last season was a big moment for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.”
The former United right-back also explained “That demonstrated progression. To get close to the top-two and win a trophy – maybe in one of the cup competition – would be acceptable. He would have to get close to winning a title by his third season.”
Manchester United will be more than happy if they get a second position finish in the Premier League next season and will have to better than they were last season.
