Grealish to have crunch talks with Villa chiefs

Jack Grealish has been linked to Manchester United since the January transfer window before the club signed Bruno Fernandes. The Red Devils are still said to be keen to get the signature for Grealish this summer, as Solskjaer reportedly likes the player. But with Aston Villa asking £80m for their talisman, United feel it is way too much to pay for Grealish.

Jack Grealish is one of the main reasons why Aston Villa have stayed up in the Premier League. The attacking midfielder scored the goal in Villa’s last game helping them stay for another season in the Premier League. But with their stay in the top flight of English football, the Villa owners no more need to sell their prized players.

The 24-year old Englishman is deemed to be too good of a player to play for relegation-battling Aston Villa. He is ready to take the step up to a bigger club and wants to move elsewhere, with interest from Manchester United. Manchester Evening News reported that Grealish is set to have talks with Villa’s chief executive regarding his future, as he fears of being priced out of a move this window.

Fabrizio Romano has also said that the Red Devils are still looking at Jack Grealish but aren’t prioritizing his move. But, if the player manages to lower his price tag, United might be encouraged to sign Jack Grealish.
