Manchester United have now won eight games consecutively in the Premier League away from home, breaking the previous club record. The Red Devils have been fantastic on the road this season but haven’t had the same kind of results at Old Trafford. In his recent interview with MUTV, Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has spoken about the team’s form both at home and away from home this season.
The Red Devils face West Ham this weekend in the Premier League as United look to win their ninth consecutive away game in the league. United lost their last game against PSG but still, Solskjaer will be confident to take all three points from West Ham. Manchester United captain has said that the Red Devils have had a great run of form away from home but also need to get results at home.
In his interview, Maguire said: “It’s an amazing away run we’ve been on. Our home form hasn’t been good enough, like I’ve said, but our away form has been really good. We never give in and always fight to the end and we’ve scored some late winners. Our confidence is high, even after a defeat [on Wednesday, to PSG], where we felt like the performance was there but the game was decided on fine margins.”
Manchester United will be expected to win in the game against West Ham as the Red Devils have been terrific away from home. The players must also be etching to play better after a poor loss against PSG in the Champions League. Only time will tell if United make it nine on the road or finally get defeated.
