Manchester United and the club captain, Harry Maguire have both had torrid starts to the season, especially in the Premier League. But after the 6-1 drubbing against Tottenham, the Red Devils have shown great courage and haven’t lost a game since then. In his recent talk with MUTV, Maguire has talked about how Manchester United have come back from their poor start to the season.
After last night’s performance against Leipzig, Manchester United players were ecstatic, having scored five goals against a strong side. It has been quite a turn-around for the Red Devils after a string of poor results. But Maguire took his time to reflect upon United’s poor start to the season and the strong comeback after the international break.
In his recent interview, Maguire said: “After Tottenham we were all devastated. We were three games into the season and it felt like we were in a big crisis. We’ve gone back to that solid base. It’s been really important to give the front lads the opportunity to score, if they score one, two or three goals it should end up in a win. We’re doing that at the moment.”
It will be important for the Red Devils to capitalize from their recent form and build on it to get a trophy at least at the end of the season. The Red Devils have, against all odds, have won tough games against PSG and RB Leipzig and have Arsenal to face in the weekend. It will be expected for the Red Devils to win against Arsenal and get some points on the table in the Premier League.
