Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford were on the scoresheet for the travelling party to the capital city with United claiming yet another win on the road.

The much-hyped Manchester derby fizzled out to finish in a rather boring stalemate despite both sides heading into the clash on the back of some dazzling displays.

Manchester United’s trip to Premier League new boys Fulham resulted in yet another lacklustre showing away from home from Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The defending champions drew 1-1 with Scott Parker’s Cottagers who had made the early breakthrough in the game before it came down to Salah’s brilliance once again from the spot-kick to salvage a point for his side.

The Old Trafford giants made their entry into the top-four of the Premier League table with a thumping win at home against arch-foes Leeds United with the hosts enjoying a massive 6-2 scoreline.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton spoiled United’s plans of closing the gap on table-toppers Manchester City with the Merseysiders holding their Manchester counterparts to a 3-3 draw.

More points were dropped by the Red Devils as their visit to relegation favourites West Brom finished in a 1-1 stalemate with Bruno Fernandes’ strike earning the point for the visitors.

An own goal from Hammers centre-back Craig Dawson gifted United a rather hard-earned win at home despite Solskajer fielding a strong-looking starting lineup on paper.

Manchester United left it late to secure the win and cement their top-four status when going up against Brighton as Mason Greenwood netted the winner in the closing minutes of the game.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men took revenge for the drubbing suffered by them earlier in the season to Spurs as they secured a convincing win in North London with goals from Fred, Cavani and Greenwood.

Mason Greenwood continued with his great run of form in front of the goal with a brace from the youngster and a stoppage-time strike from Cavani ensuring another win on the trot for United.

The derby fixture finished in a goalless draw with Leeds United proving a tough match for an in-form Manchester United side.

Manchester United came from behind against hosts Aston Villa to claim the win at Villa Park with goals from Fernandes, Greenwood and Cavani doing the job for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Co.
Match 35 – Manchester United v Liverpool (2-4) – 14th May 2021
The Red Devils were handed an upsetting defeat by their arch-foes Liverpool who claimed all three points at Old Trafford for the first time since 2014.
United took the lead through Fernandes but were unable to keep the Liverpool frontline in check to fall to a loss as Jurgen Klopp’s side moved up the table.
