Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a massive claim that any “proper” Manchester United supporter would have been disgusted by the attack on Ed Woodward’s home in the late hours of Tuesday.
According to the latest reports on Tuesday night, there were between 20 and 30 fans that were involved in an attack on the home of United’s vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
The Red Devils responded with strong condemnation of the incident, vowing to ban any supporters for life if found to have been involved in that incident.
While speaking to reporters ahead of the clash against local neighbors Manchester City on Wednesday in the EFL semifinal the 46-year-old Norwegian Solskjaer echoed the club’s sentiment and said that everyone must stick together and real United fans will not enact in such a manner, “Everyone at the club and our proper supporters were disgusted with what happened, We know our fans are passionate and opinions can be voiced in different ways. I’ve said it before, we’ve got to stick together, stay united and I’m sure our fans will support us.”
Woodward has been a prime target for many United fans’ ire over recent seasons, as the club continues to struggle to return close to their former heights of the glorious past. The 48-year-old Englishman has come under plenty of abuse due to the crumbling of the club.
