Fred has improved a lot at Manchester United in the past year after joining from Shakhtar a couple of years ago. He is arguably Manchester United’s most important players and has cemented his position in the Red Devils’ midfield. It is now being reported by Football Italia via Corriere dello Sport that Inter Milan are looking to get a swap involving Fred and Christian Eriksen with both players moving the other way.
Fred has become one of Solskjaer’s favourites this season as he has provided the team with the much-needed ruggedness. The Brazilian has played in most of the United games this season after the horrific loss to Tottenham. Even tonight against Istanbul Basaksehir, Fred will be expected to start for Manchester United at Old Trafford.
It is being reported that Inter Milan will try to get a swap deal done involving Fred and Christian Eriksen moving the other way. Eriksen hasn’t settled in at the Inter Milan side despite joining from Tottenham earlier this summer. It is highly unlikely for Manchester United to agree on this deal as it won’t serve any good to the squad.
The Manchester United board should stay away from such a deal and must keep hold of Fred as he is one of the best players in the squad.
