Former Inter Milan superstar Solivan Zamorano has urged the Italian club to complete a permanent deal for Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez, who is currently on loan for Antonio Conte’s side.
Since making his move to the San Siro in the summer transfer window, Sanchez has endured a stop-start time which has been hampered mainly by injury, which has restricted him to making only nine appearances for Inter.
But despite his early-season struggles for both Inter as well as Manchester United, Zamorano has told Chilean radio station Radio Cooperativa the prospect of Sanchez staying fora longer period of time at San Siro. The 29-year-old has scored only one goal so far for his new club but Inter is in with the chance to dethrone Juventus’ dominance in the Serie A.

While speaking to reporters ex Inter star Zamorano explained that Inter should try to sign the Chilean on a permanent basis as well as sign Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, “He has a contract with Manchester United but we will see where he wants to continue and feels happy. I would like [him] to stay in Milan, in June he would have the opportunity to play with another Chilean, who will most likely come to this club. I am optimistic about the possibility to see two Chileans at Inter.”
On the other hand, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is running short on striking options at Manchester United having allowed Sanchez and Lukaku to leave in the summer. The Red Devils are in the running to secure a top-four berth in the Premier League to qualify for the Champions League next season as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are the only two senior strikers at the club.
