Manchester United FC target Jadon Sancho already has his mind at United, according to German journalist Heiko Wasser.
Sancho was on the bench for Borussia Dortmund against RB Leipzig and is already planning to play for United next season. The 20-year-old English winger is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in football and is looking for a move elsewhere.
Jadon Sancho is a graduate from Manchester City’s football academy, but he left for Dortmund in search of game-time. In the summer of 2017, he joined the German Club and has never looked back since. Sancho has been tearing defences apart in the Bundesliga as well as in the Champions League.
Sancho has been an integral part of Dortmund’s success for the past couple of years. He has scored 34 and has set up 43 goals in just 98 matches for the club. This season, Sancho has scored and assisted 20 goals each in just 43 games, placing himself amongst the elite.
Sancho looked out of shape post the pandemic but has recently shrugged off the critics. He scored a hat-trick against SC Paderborn on matchday 29. But despite his performances, he found himself on the bench against RB Leipzig, as he is believed to leave Dortmund.
It is widely regarded that Sancho will be on the move, once the transfer window opens, with United placed as favourites. United are in the look-out of a right-winger, and who better than Sancho to fill the spot. There is also interest from Chelsea, but it is believed that Sancho is already at United in his mind.
He liked a tweet from Heiko Wasser, which said Sancho “is already with his head at Man United.” Sancho soon removed his like, but it might be a sign of things to come, this summer. Wasser is a credible source and is highly respected in Germany.
@BVB #RBLBVB

United have reportedly been in contact with the Englishman and both the parties seem to have personal agreements sorted. Sancho would like to come back to England, especially Manchester, where he played most of his football. The only problem in the deal is the price tag set for Sancho by Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund have set an asking price of about £100m for Sancho, this transfer window. The Red Devils have the financial muscle to pull off a deal but are wary of looking at the current pandemic situation. United look to bolster their attack with Sancho but are looking for his price tag to drop, to make an official bid.
Sancho has been on the front page of transfer speculations this season. Let’s wait to see if all the stories regarding him are true and his transfer to United takes shape.
