It’s so disturbing to see some pundits talking in support of the Glazers and saying that they have improved the club. Yes, one of those names is Graeme Souness, who has defended the rich family and has rather condemned the protest.
This seems so bad that they are not thinking like a fan even after they have footballers in the past. Jamie Carragher has done an absolutely great thing by launching a war of words on those pundits by saying that the club means everything for its supporters and this protest is needed.
It’s generally been missed that a ton of these fans love their group since it’s their nearby group and in light of the set of experiences and legacy that it represents, so seeing that being stripped away for cash by evil owners is clearly going to cause a ton of outrage.
The arrangement of the Super League was an immediate endeavor to a great extent making the fans a hesitation in light of the fact that the abroad market is adequately large to give tremendous monetary prizes, and that is the place where a ton of the annoyance has come from.
Jamie Carragher as of late took a stand in opposition to the Man United fights at the end of the week, and this is by all accounts an immediate shot at any savants (Graeme Souness included) who think they reserve no option to a voice on the grounds that the club has won prizes before and burned through cash:
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Carragher while talking to SkySports, said: “The supporters who really felt this more and marched on stadiums are Manchester United and Arsenal – that’s because they had a huge problem with their owners before this,” Carragher said on Monday Night Football. It’s different for these two clubs, because of that. This talk of Manchester United fans only doing this because they are not challenging for the top honors? Lazy punditry, that’s what I call it. If you’re going to speak about something passionately – and you can have your opinion – back it up with facts. This is nothing to do with where Manchester United is in the league. Yes, there’s been a decline, obviously, but this campaign has been going on for a long, long time, from when Manchester United was very, very successful. So let’s not accuse Manchester United fans of just throwing the toys out the pram because they’re not competing with City or in the Champions League, whatever it may be. That is absolute nonsense.”
Carragher proves the biggest point here and that is: The fans live for the club and they cant see its glory fading away. They have to protest and win against the evil.
