French defender Jean-Clair Todibo is reportedly experiencing a lack of stability at Nice due to transfer interest from Manchester United, as reported by Nice-Matin in their latest edition.
There have been numerous links between Todibo and United throughout this month, and L’Equipe recently suggested that a move to the club is nearing completion.
The former Barcelona player is currently feeling unsettled while at the Ligue 1 club, likely due to the inconsistent interest shown by Erik ten Hag’s United side.
Although a transfer to Old Trafford doesn’t seem very likely at this point, there remains an air of uncertainty regarding his future as the transfer window’s final days approach.

United had shown interest in signing Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich earlier this month. However, their plans to do so were foiled when Harry Maguire chose to remain with the team.
United had verbally agreed to transfer Maguire to West Ham United, but the 30-year-old declined to negotiate terms with West Ham, preventing the move.
This refusal to let Maguire go meant that United couldn’t pursue their interest in Pavard. Presently, Inter has reached a preliminary agreement to acquire the French star, but Bayern are unwilling to sell without securing a replacement.
Man United have now considered Todibo as a backup option. It’s been reported that Manager Ten Hag has had discussions with the French player about the team’s plans.

Todibo seems interested in the move, but it’s unlikely to happen unless Harry Maguire leaves the club on a permanent transfer in the near future.
Due to Financial Fair Play constraints, United’s options are currently limited. They require funds from Maguire’s sale to be able to afford Todibo, whose value is estimated at €40 million.
