Jose Mourinho gives nasty reply when asked about Erik Ten Hag

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Jose Mourinho was irritated when a question concerning Erik ten Hag’s appointment at Manchester United was asked to him by a journalist.

To be fair, no one wasn’t surprised to hear Mourinho respond angrily to the reporter’s queries. The AS Roma manager is concentrating on his own work, which includes a Europa League semi-final match against Leicester City.

He rather preferred not to speak on United’s most recent managerial signing, which was announced last week.

It was also a sarcastically put question to Mourinho, who was asked if he had any advice for the next Manchester United manager after his departure in 2018.

For which he gave a sound reply to the journalist by saying:

“You brought up a point, it is my former club. Not my club. No, I don’t have advice.”

We are not sure what the journalist in question was expecting, but he got a sound response. It was most likely the last question Mourinho expected to be asked before Roma’s forthcoming match.

During his tenure as manager, Mourinho won the League Cup and the Europa League. We haven’t won a trophy since then, and it’s been a long five years.

We’ll be hopeful that Erik ten Hag can deliver, but he’ll need some time to put together his own team. Many of the current crops of players aren’t up to the task yet.
