According to our sources, Manchester United loanee Sofyan Amrabat is a soft target for Serie A giants Juventus ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window
The Moroccan ace hasn’t enjoyed a fruitful loan period in the PL. He has made just 22 appearances after joining from Italian outfit Fiorentina last summer.
Amrabat moved to the Theatre of Dreams for a price which seemed to be expensive for a loan deal. His contract with United will expire this summer and he will be free to move back to Serie A.
The 27-year-old’s contract with Fiorentina will also expire next summer. Hence, he needs to secure his future at a new club to avoid losing his value over time.

Hence, it comes as no surprise that Juventus are now showing interest in the player and they would be willing to sign the African defensive midfielder. The player’s experience in the Serie A would be helpful for the fierce rivals.
Amrabat’s time at Man United has been underwhelming
The decision to move to a new club looks sensible for Amrabat since he has been unable to solidify his position in the current Man United squad. Manager Erik ten Hag has preferred to play Kobbie Mainoo in the defensive midfield position.
The 18-year-old has also showcased his value to the team with commendable performances since the start of the season. The Englishman was once again in the limelight against Liverpool in their recent FA Cup victory.
At this point, he is an automatic starter alongside Casemiro or Scott McTominay.
Hence, it would be better for Amrabat to make decent use of his remaining time at United and then plan for a better future at a new club.

Juventus could be an attractive destination and it remains to be seen whether the midfielder decides to snub a new contract offer by Fiorentina and forces for an exit.
Ten Hag wouldn’t be too happy with this loan deal as well since he had decided to target the experienced midfielder. Although Amrabat solved a lot of on-field issues due to his versatility, he has not been an impactful player in his short span at the club.
