According to Calciomercato, Juventus are interested in signing Anthony Martial on a loan deal with the option to buy in the summer of 2023.
The Frenchman has had a difficult season with United and is no longer considered a likely starter in the Premier League. This season, Martial has only made two league starts and has only appeared as a substitute in the Champions League.
There are rumours that he may be on his way out the door, and the Bianconeri are reportedly interested in signing him on loan next summer.
The Frenchman is said to be interested in joining the Serie A giants, but a deal with the Red Devils may prove difficult. Man United wants £38-£42 million for his talents, but Bianconeri believes the price is too high given his lack of playing time.
The Turin club will offer an 18-month loan with a £25 million buyout option in June 2023. They are willing to cover a portion of his salary.
Martial loves to lead the attack, but with Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and Edinson Cavani ahead of him in the pecking order, that appears unlikely.
The Frenchman can also play out wide, but he faces the same kind of competition for positions. This season, Rashford, Greenwood, Paul Pogba, and Jadon Sancho have all been favoured over him.
Martial has a lot of time left to show himself. The Frenchman’s contract runs through June 2024, with the club having the option of extending it for another season. Despite this, he could leave as soon as possible, as his lack of regular first-team play could mean he misses out on a place in France’s World Cup squad next winter.
He was recently given starts for Les Bleus, however, he has been absent during the current international break. To boost his chances of being selected, Martial must play on a regular basis.

After parting company with Cristiano Ronaldo without finding a replacement, the Bianconeri are looking for a new striker. This season, there has been an excessive reliance on Paul Dybala.
This year, Martial hasn’t looked like himself, but a regular schedule of games could help him regain his form and confidence. Man United’s decision on whether or not to renew the loan is still up in the air.
Man United have rarely sanctioned winter exits in the past, and they may be inclined to keep Martial for the season before deciding on his future.
