Famous Pundit Roy Keane kicked off his interview duties in hallmark fashion, taking aim at Manchester United’s superstar Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes hit out at the criticism he’s faced for making a little impact for United in clashes against the ‘Big Six’, with the playmaker’s only goal from seven outings against that opposition coming via a penalty.
Keane felt that the comments from the Portuguese international were quite weird and he also claimed that the United attacker should not react to such nonsense and rather move on with it.
Keane said: “Fighting, that’s bizarre, a load of nonsense there, wasn’t it. Talking about a load of stats, just get on with being a footballer. He said, he talks about ex-players and pundits, I don’t know why these players worry about pundits’ opinions, just get on with it. Did you ever think about it? Listen to what people said? When I was a player, not really no. He’s right in a sense that when United plays badly he does get criticized, but other lads have to turn up as well, we can’t just keep saying it’s up to him. But he’s a big player for them, if he doesn’t perform in the big games he’s going to be criticized, obviously.”
Fernandes’ contributions against the ‘Big Six’ were rediscovered as he scored an early goal against Manchester City and this has made a dead-end to the Big Six statement.
While it could be unreasonable that the main part of the analysis is coordinated towards Fernandes after the side’s unconvincing showcases against top sides, he’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s best player and this is the sort of examination that accompanies that standing.
It will be intriguing to perceive how Fernandes passages against cross-town opponents, regardless of whether this new dramatization will proceed with a drop or it has terminated the playmaker up.
