Leaked images of Man United’s new season kits bring in mixed reactions

Leaked images of Manchester United’s home kit for the 2023/24 season have emerged online, leading to mixed reactions among the club’s supporters regarding the design.

Despite the increasing optimism within the fanbase following Erik ten Hag’s satisfactory first season at Old Trafford, the pictures of the new Red Devils’ home jersey, leaked by Jersey Review, have caused a division of opinions among United fans.

Adidas has made changes to United’s home kit for the upcoming 2023/24 season by replacing the white fold-down collar with a sleek black trim.

The design incorporates the red rose of Lancashire, which is featured on the inside of the collar and forms a pattern on the jersey. The front-of-shirt sponsor will continue to be Team Viewer, a German computer software company.

The kit also pays tribute to a design from the 2002/03 season with its black outline. While some supporters have expressed approval and liking for the new look, others have shown their disapproval, creating a divide in opinions among the fanbase.

The new Man United shirt has garnered mixed reactions from fans, with some expressing delight and giving rave reviews on social media, while others disagree with the size of the shirt sponsor.

Leaked images have also revealed the designs for the away and third kits, featuring green stripes and plain white, respectively.

Adidas has made the devil symbol in the middle of the crest larger, which is expected to generate varied opinions among supporters.

The Qatari banker is seen as a preferred candidate to complete a takeover. The Red Devils will be making a return to the Champions League after a one-season absence, thanks to their impressive third-place finish in the Premier League last season.
