According to the Daily Mail, Leeds United are reportedly considering a loan move for Manchester United winger Amad Diallo, who impressed during his loan spell at Sunderland last season.
Diallo made a significant impact at Sunderland, contributing 13 goals and three assists as the club reached the Championship play-offs.
Leeds, currently seeking low-cost options following their relegation from the Premier League, are interested in acquiring the 20-year-old winger.
With several key players expected to depart from Elland Road, Leeds are looking to fill the gaps in their squad, and Diallo has emerged as a potential option.
The 20-year-old United winger will return to the club for pre-season before a decision is made regarding his future. Leeds are considering various options and see Diallo as an ideal replacement to bolster their attack next season.

However, Diallo has dropped down the pecking order at United due to the emergence of Alejandro Garnacho. Players like Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Facundo Pellistri are already competing for starting positions on the wings.
The youngster joined United for pre-season, where manager Erik ten Hag will assess his options. While he will have a chance to prove himself ready for the Premier League, there is a possibility that he may be sent out on loan to gain more regular playing time.

Interestingly, Diallo’s preference is reported to be a return to Sunderland, where he previously excelled under Tony Mowbray.
