Victor Lindelof is one of the most underrated players in the current Manchester United first-team squad because of his shy behaviour. But on the pitch, Lindelof has been one of the most consistent players for the Red Devils for the past couple of seasons. Despite that, the Swedish international has again turned out to be a hero by saving a lady from a theft.
Lindelof has faced heavy criticism from the fan base following his error in the Europa League semi-final. The goal from Luuk De Jong meant that United were knocked out of the Europa League, which they were favourites to win. But off the pitch, Lindelof has again turned it big as he saved a woman’s bag from being stolen from the streets.

Lindelof with his wife
In his native Sweden, Lindelof was casually roaming with his wife, when a man tried to flee away after snatching the bag of an elderly woman. But Lindelof caught hold of the thief, who was on a bicycle, and held on to him till police arrived. The Vasteras Police issued a statement saying “The police want to take the opportunity and thank the witness for a quick and wise intervention to restore the plaintiff’s property.”
Lindelof might be replaced next season if the board signs a new centre-back, but the Swede has been good for United on and off the pitch.
