In arguably what is the most important game of the season in the Premier League so far, Liverpool play hosts to Manchester United. The Red Devils sit in the top of the league table after the win against Burnley with a wonder strike from Pogba. But Solskjaer men will face their toughest challenge of the season so far, against arch-rivals and defending champions Liverpool.
The Manchester United squad is huge and Solskjaer has a lot of options to choose from because of an almost fully-fit squad. Liverpool on the other hand have a lo to of injury issues but will still try to make it count when it matters the most. THE 4-4-2 (DIAMOND)
The 4-4-2 (Diamond) formation has been Ole’s go-to formation in the Premier League this season, as the United squad has a lot of midfielders. Fred and McTominay have turned out to be a mainstay in the Manchester United side this season, at least in all big games. Both the midfielders have been good almost every time they have stepped out together, and have been a reason for the club’s success this season.

The Portuguese will be under watchful Liverpool eyes surely as they will look to contain him. The 4-2-3-1 is a very balanced system that has been used by Manchester United under the rein of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in his couple of years at the helm. This system is also a good possibility for the Red Devils as it will make sure they are solid defensively.
