United visits the fiercest stadium in Europe, “Anfield” this Tuesday with a nerve-wracking fixture. Last time out Liverpool just outclassed United. United were handed an embarrassing 5-0 defeat with Salah scoring a hat trick. Fans left the stadium much before the referee blew the final whistle of this catastrophe. The last time, United defeated Liverpool at Anfield dates back to 2016 when Wayne Rooney scored the only goal of the fixture.
The top four hope has once back as Arsenal and Spurs dropped some crucial points last game week. Ronaldo’s 60th career hat trick helped United edge past the bottom of the table Norwich City who almost came back and did the impossible of clinching those must needed three points from United.
United is going to miss an important player (Luke Shaw) due to an injury along with Fred and Rafael Varane who might just not get the green light after being injured as well. These three are an integral part of this team and their inclusion in the squad can completely change the scenario of the game.
Ronaldo once again seems to be the sole attacker along with Sancho and Elanga covering both the attacking flanks. Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba are regular starters along with Harry Maguire and Lindelof looking to be the defensive duo once again. Alex Telles is the only option left as Shaw is out injured. The main doubt is whether Ragnick will give Aaron Wan Bissaka the RB role or Diego Dalot?
Salah, Mane and Jota all three are on a blistering form this season, bagging goals wherever they go. Liverpool are just thrashing every team they are playing against. Liverpool are just a point behind the league leaders (Manchester City-74 points) and they would try their best to produce the same result that was witnessed in Old Trafford. On the other hand, United’s top-four hopes heavily depends on this blockbuster fixture as well.
Match Prediction-
Cristiano Ronaldo once again seems to be the only goal scorer for United. Meanwhile, Anfield crowd will be having an electrifying atmosphere. Salah and Diego Jota seems to be the favourites to score for the home side. With United’s shaky defence, Liverpool will make the most out of it. However, Jadon Sancho seems to be another player who might make an impact.
