Jones made a few crucial clearances in the first half, but he couldn’t keep up with Liverpool’s pace. At halftime, he was replaced.
Harry Maguire (CB) – 6/10
He tried to keep things in order in the back, but he made some questionable decisions in his own half. Failed to mark the Liverpool attackers and was simply left outstanding empty.

When defending on the wider areas, he was exposed multipe times. Liverpool attackers troubled him with their movements.

Diogo Dalot (LWB) – 6.5/10
He put forth a lot of effort on defense, but he didn’t do much in the final third.

Fernandes attempted to assist his teammates in the back, but he was denied a shot on goal. He consistently delivered crosses but failed to find the target.
Anthony Elanga (LAM) – 5/10
Frequently found himself in spaces but couldn’t contribute anything. A very poor performance by the Swede attacker.
Marcus Rashford (ST) – 4/10
He squandered a golden opportunity to score in the first half and put forth a mediocre performance in the second. Looks as if he is not at all interested in playing for the club.
Substitutes:
Jesse Lingard (CAM) – 5/10
He was unable to threaten Liverpool’s goal.
Jadon Sancho (LW) – 7/10
He was the brightest player in the match. His introduction off the bench brought in a spark in United’s attack. Could have had a much bigger impact if he was allowed to play from the very first minute.
Hannibal Mejbri (RW) – N/A
Mejbri did not have enough playing time but showed great passion after coming on. He troubled the Liverpool players with his defensive play.
