As reported by the Guardian, Luke Shaw hits back at Mourinho and replied to the former United manager by saying that he should move on from their bad relationship.
Luke Shaw was spectacular for Manchester United last season and undoubtedly the best left-back in the Premier League. Shaw joined United from Southampton back in 2014 and he had high targets to achieve. But it was not a smooth road for the English left-back.
At the point when Mourinho took control over the managerial duties, his career went downhill as the manager openly criticized the player for his performances. Nonetheless, with Mourinho out of the picture, Shaw brought his form back for Manchester United and this earned him a spot in England’s Euro 2020 squad.

He at present gives off an impression of being the best left-back for England. Shaw has been included in two of the past three games for England and has been probably one of the best players for England this summer.
The left-back was given the duty of taking corners for his side against the Czech Republic. The outcome from these corners drew some cruel analysis from Jose Mourinho. He labeled his corners as being ‘dramatically bad’ and he had also preferred Ben Chilwell ahead of Luke Shaw.
Luke Shaw didn’t remain silent and has hit back at Mourinho by stating that the former United manager should move on from their duel and stop talking about him.
He said: “He likes some, he doesn’t like others and I fell into the category where he didn’t like me. I tried as hard as I could to get back on to his side but it never worked out, no matter what I did. There is no hiding that we didn’t get on. I think he was a brilliant manager but, you know, the past is the past. It is time to move on. I am trying to move on but, obviously, he can’t. He continuously talks about me, which I find quite strange. Even some of the lads have said: ‘What’s his problem?’ and: ‘Why does he keep talking?’ He just needs to move on. Hopefully, he can find his peace with that and finally move on and stop worrying about me. Clearly, I am in his head a lot and he clearly thinks about me a lot. “
The previous Saints’ defender has become a vital player for the team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norweigan has shown confidence in the defender which has supported his certainty.
The Red Devils have been trophyless throughout the previous four years and will be quick to end this dry spell next season. Luke Shaw should keep up his high-flying form if United wants to win a trophy next season.
