Manchester United FC have constantly been a source of great English players for the national side and the club continues to be so. As the international break comes close, the Three Lions manager, Gareth Southgate has announced England’s squad for games against Wales, Denmark, and Sweden. Amongst the Red Devils, Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, and Dean Henderson have been selected for the England squad, according to reports from Sky Sports.
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has returned to the English squad after his fight incident at Mykonos last month. The centre-back has been recalled by Gareth Southgate, who has always rated Maguire and has put his trust into the defender. On the other hand, Mason Greenwood has been dropped from the squad following his breach of isolation rules last time around.
Marcus Rashford and Dean Henderson have kept their place in the national squad and will look to get proper game-time. Rashford had withdrawn from the squad last month, with an ankle injury, but will be keen to shine for the Three Lions in time around. The international break will come in good time for Manchester United, as the team needs more game-time to become fitter and sharper.
Along with the international callup’s elation, also comes the risk of being injured while on international duty. Solskjaer will be hoping none of his players get injured while on international duty.
