Manchester United have completed their pre-season, with a 1-0 loss over Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena. This gave an end to a six match pre-season tour, before the start of Premier League campaign.
The pre-season did not go as the team would have expected it to, with just two wins in their six matches. A 2-1 win over Real Madrid and a tough win against AC Milan that went on to the penalties. The other four matches were not as expected with two draws against San Jose Earthquakes and Club America, and two dismaying displays against Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
It will be a difficult Premier League season for United if they do not strengthen their team in order to compete with the Premier League giants like Manchester City, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal. The team will have to freshen up before this Friday when the premier league starts, because this time it is the premier league points they will have to play for.
United will not have to lament over the pre-season failure and go in with a winning mentality, and a strong attitude.
