Man United target Jack Grealish sets sights on new destination

Manchester United FC have reportedly targeted Jack Grealish of Aston Villa to provide depth and creativity to the United side. His current employers, Aston Villa, will inevitably go down to the Championship and Grealish is too good a player to go there. As a summer move comes closer Grealish is believed to have found a house buy in the North-West.

Jack Grealish has taken the Premier League by storm playing for a relegation battling Aston Villa side. He has been at the center of everything Villa have done going forward and is the captain of his boyhood club. The young Englishman has taken up the mantle to keep his club in the Premier League but in vain.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the mesmeric dribbler for a move this summer. Playing for a club like Aston Villa, Grealish has racked up some unbelievable numbers, catching the eyes of the big clubs. Villa’s asking price for their talisman has put some clubs off though, as Villa demand about £80m.

Grealish is the most fouled player in the Premier League this season, as has been fouled 111 times yet. The fact that the second most fouled player is Wilfred Zaha with 83 fouls shows the magnanimity of the class of Grealish. Not just dribbling, Grealish has also scored 7 and set up 6 goals in the Premier League this season.

The 24-year old Grealish is versatile and can play in different positions like the attacking midfield and either of the wings. With Villa seemingly going to the Championship, Grealish is touted for a summer move to Manchester United. The Red Devils feel that Villa’s valuation of Grealish will dramatically decrease as soon as they get relegated.

The Villa captain has had some disciplinary issues over time, but even that doesn’t stop Solskjaer to go for him. It seems that Grealish is interested in a move and has told his friends about a new house in the North-west. Manchester United certainly will not pay £80m for Grealish, especially with the pandemic situation and lack of finances.

The United hierarchy believes that Villa’s asking price for Grealish will come down for as little as £40m. And only then will United make a move for the talented Jack Grealish.
