There were some welcome returnees at Carrington, ahead of United v Liverpool
Team training pictures were out before the FA Cup quarter-finals against Liverpool. In this Training session, many injured players were seen back on Carrington with the team. The defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka was pictured on the training pitches at Carrington on Tuesday morning, along with midfielder Mason Mount, who has also been absent for the Reds of late.
There is no clarity about their return but fans can expect it very soon. Wan-Bissaka suffered an unusual muscle injury in his leg. United’s backline has been weakened by injuries to Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, and Harry Maguire, so his return to the team will be a significant help with Victor Lindelof taking over at left-back, Wan-Bissaka’s return provides much-needed depth and versatility to the back line.
