According to a report from The Sun, Manchester United are unlikely to pursue a deal for Randal Kolo Muani due to Eintracht Frankfurt’s unwillingness to compromise on their transfer valuation.
The Red Devils are actively seeking a new centre-forward, and Muani has been frequently linked with a move to Old Trafford.
The 24-year-old had an impressive season for the Bundesliga club, contributing 23 goals and 17 assists. However, The Sun claims that Frankfurt is adamant about their £86 million asking price for Muani, and United are not willing to meet their demands for the transfer fee.
Before joining Frankfurt on a free transfer last summer, Kolo Muani was relatively unknown. However, he quickly gained attention for his creativity and assists, and his goal-scoring form improved as the season progressed.

Muani had an impressive contribution of 40 goals. Additionally, he displayed a consistent work rate and high pressing, winning an exceptional 6.8 duels per game and completing 2.2 take-on. These are notable statistics for a player leading the attack.
In our view, Muani would be a valuable addition to Man United’s forward line. However, Frankfurt’s refusal to negotiate on its price tag presents a significant obstacle.
United are operating with a limited budget of £120 million and is hesitant to meet the asking price. The situation could potentially change later in the transfer window if United manages to generate sufficient funds through player sales.
