Man United vs Nottingham Forest – Manchester United’s Predicted Lineup | PL 22-23

Manchester United welcome the Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest to Old Trafford on Tuesday as both sides resume their top flight campaign.

Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils were last seen in Thursday’s Carabao Cup win over Burnley with Marcus Rashford and Christian Eriksen scoring to help their side advance through to the next round of the competition.

Let us now take a look at how Erik ten Hag might set up his United side for the upcoming game –

4-3-3

David de Gea would be the man between the goalposts for the home side United who remain without their first-choice centre-backs Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane following the World Cup final.

In the duo’s absence, skipper Harry Maguire is expected to join Victor Lindelof in the centre-back roles on the team sheet while Wan-Bissaka and Shaw feature as the full-backs.

The centre of the park for United will likely have Brazil international Casemiro partnering up with Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes with the latter operating in the advanced role.

Marcus Rashford should be seen leading the line for United and joining him in the attacking third would be summer signing Antony and the returning Anthony Martial.
