Highly-rated Manchester United defender Will Fish has joined fifth-tier team Stockport County F.C. As reported by the club’s official website, he has secured a loan deal and will stay with Man United till the beginning of the pre-season.
He will then join his new club and will continue his development with Stockport. Will Fish last played for United against Wolves, where he made his first senior appearance as Man United won with a 2-1 scoreline. He has even been included in United’s squad facing Granada in the Europa League.
Will Fish was training with Man United and preparing for the pre-season. Simon Rusk, Stockport’s manager will be guiding the youngster for the upcoming season.
Solkjaer wanted to gift the youngster some much-needed regular football so that he can develop his career.
Simon Rusk is super excited to have Will Fish at Stockport, he said: “I’m delighted to have Will on board for the upcoming season. We are all really excited to work by his potential and to have the opportunity to work with him and develop his talents.”
Will Fish has captained Man United’s u23 squad and was the second youngster player in that squad, just slightly older than Shole Shoretire.
Will Fish will be playing the Nation League Football and we hope that he thrives well and come back stronger. We wish him all the best.
