According to Marca, Manchester United have been linked with a move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri as Anthony Martial’s replacement this summer.
The Red Devils signed Rasmus Hohjlund from Atalanta last summer and the Danish ace has been an undisputed starter upfront. However, there hasn’t been enough competition for him upfront.
Anthony Martial’s injury issues have continued to persist. The French striker is still harbouring an injury and is likely to return before the end of the season.
The 28-year-old’s contract will end this summer and his agent has already made it clear that his client is looking for a move away from Old Trafford. United have shown no interest in extending his contract beyond this season.

It has now been claimed that the English giants are keeping an eye on En-Nesyri. The Sevilla star has been linked with the club in the past few years as his contract will end next summer.
The Moroccon ace is already a hit in Spain and he can provide quality competition to Hojlund. Sevilla are facing one of their worst seasons as they are strangled in the 14th spot with only 31 points in 30 games.
They might be looking for a major squad overall but need to sell some of their players to make it possible.
But, En-Nesyri has been their best performer with 14 goals in 33 outings and he has actively participated in the African Cup of Nations. The 26-year-old also scored a goal against Manchester City in the UEFA Super Cup last year.
The striker is not very well known for his passing abilities but his strong aerial presence suits PL’s style of football. He has consistently demonstrated superior finishing skills in the La Liga.

It’s time for Man Utd to sell Martial and save his wages for a more proven striker. Hojlund will also benefit from an experienced striker in the squad and it will also help Erik ten Hag to execute quality player rotations.
However, it remains to be seen whether the interest in the African honcho solidifies in the upcoming months.
