According to the Sun, Manchester United players are aware of manager Erik ten Hag’s change in mood and they believe that the gaffer knows that he might be sacked at the end of the season.
The players have noticed a change in the manager’s behaviour with the club moving towards the final few games of this campaign. The gaffer might have accepted his faith after his side’s horrendous performance in the past year.
Although the 49-year-old Erik ten Hag’s has highly spoken about his future at the club and that the new owners have faith in him.
But Sir Jim Ratcliffe is yet to speak on the former Ajax boss’ future and at present there are no indications that the INEOS are ready to work with the Dutchman.
There is a mathematical chance that the Red Devils might qualify for the Champions League but the chances look slim since there are just seven games left to play in the Premier League this term.

The only realistic chance of ending this season decently would be by lifting the FA Cup. They need to overcome Coventry City in the semi-final clash.
Although that might not rest the speculations regarding the manager’s role beyond the ongoing season, silverware might help change the mood around the owners.
The gaffer needs to make sure that his side grabs maximum victories in their last seven games of the season.

It remains to be seen whether the gaffer stays at the fortress beyond the 2024-25 PL season.
