Manchester United got one over their arch-rivals Liverpool as they defeated them in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. It was a pretty open and exciting match unlike their previous meeting at Anfield which ended in a stalemate.
Manchester United again conceded the first goal only to rise up from their slumber and go on to have an excellent display later on. This 5-goal thriller had a lot of action as Bruno Fernandes can finally shut up the critics at least for some time with his late free-kick which sealed the deal.

Manchester United has really built an elite mentality in the last few months with the top players stepping up on occasions. Even the youngsters like Greenwood and Rashford got in for their respective contributions which made this a really good watch for every fan around the world.
The match started in a very open manner as both teams were trying to draw first blood and were trying to get the defences to open up.
Mohammed Salah opened the scoring with a sublime finish as he chipped the ball over the keeper when he was set free by an excellent through ball by Firmino. With their renewed confidence Liverpool was starting to mount some pretty decent chances but Manchester United was still hanging in and making life tough.
Towards the end of the first half, Manchester United looked really threatening and was creating some decent chances. Manchester United took the lead close to the 50th minute as Rashford calmly slotted it past Allison in the net. Liverpool gave a quickfire reply as they levelled the score in close to 10 mins and the stage was poised for a big showdown.
Bruno Fernandes came on as a substitute in the second half and set the stage on fire as his sublime free-kick helped secure the win for Manchester United.
