As stated by Squawka Football, Surprisingly, this is only the fourth time that such a remarkable feat has been achieved by any team in the league history, with Arsenal achieving it twice during the Arsene Wenger period, while Preston North End additionally did it, going back to the 1888/89 season.

Manchester United fans will be delighted that how United has been marvelous in away games and gained more points from it. But still, it’s a weird thing that United have lost points on their own turf through which they fell behind for the title race.
Manchester City had a lovely league season of winning the title eventually, and whenever United had been as reliable at Old Trafford as they have been on their opponent’s arena, they doubtlessly could have closed the gap with their arch-rivals.
This season has been phenomenal, nail-biting matches, easy victories, and also some disappointing defeats but United have held their spot in the League table. Securing the second stop is a good achievement but Solksjaer will certainly not stop there.
He will surely be aiming to be the champions next season. We will be hoping that United maintains the same record next season and will deliver the first Premier League trophy in the post-Ferguson era.
