According to Foot Mercato, Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are said to be in search of a new central defender, possibly due to speculation that Harry Maguire might leave the club.
While Napoli’s Kim Min-jae is considered the prime target for United, Guehi is also being linked with a move to the club as he is ready for a bigger challenge.
Crystal Palace is not expected to prevent Guehi from leaving at the end of the season, as United and Tottenham are keeping an eye on him.
The English defender is regarded as one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League. However, he has had some nervous moments this season and has a pass completion rate of 85% with 9.5 instances of losing possession per game.

In contrast, Min-jae boasts a pass completion rate of 91% in Serie A with Napoli and has been dispossessed 8.4 times per game.
Additionally, Min-jae is considered to have a stronger presence in aerial duels. Given these factors, Min-jae should be the priority for United if they are seeking to sign a centre-back.
Crystal Palace is reportedly seeking £50 million for Guehi, while Ten Hag’s side could acquire Min-jae for a similar fee due to a foreign release clause in his contract.
The report also suggests that Champions League football could play a crucial role in landing Min-jae, and United may face competition from other clubs such as Manchester City in the pursuit of the 26-year-old defender.
