Manchester United are keeping an eye on Brazilian teenage sensation Endrick

As per the Metro, 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Endrick is being targeted by Manchester United as they have scouted him a number of times.

Endrick’s name has long been mentioned in the media throughout Europe. The Palmeiras wonderkid has captured the attention of major teams with outstanding achievements at the youth level. The expected call-up to the senior team was all but a formality once Palmeiras recognised his talents.

Despite playing for the first team, Endrick is unable to receive consistent playing time. However, it won’t take long for him to establish himself as a regular.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona, two of the biggest clubs in Spain, as well as major English teams, like Manchester United and Arsenal admire the attacker’s abilities. Just two days ago, Endrick made history as he scored his first goal for Palmeiras at the age of 16 years, 3 months, and 4 days. With his team behind at the break, the teenager came off the bench, and he scored twice to lead Palmeiras to a 3-1 victory over Athletico Paranaense.

Manchester United is aware of Brazilian football regulations that forbid players under the age of 18 from leaving the country.

The Red Devils may remain in the background and keep an eye on Endrick with the knowledge that many more first-team opportunities will come his way in the future.

Clubs might continue to show increased interest in Endrick. Other English teams might join the queue even if Arsenal and Manchester United are currently in the running. However, Spanish clubs pose the largest threat to United, with Real Madrid appearing to be leading the race.

These elite clubs will monitor the attacker’s progress before making a call regarding the Brazilian star. It may be too early to speak about a potential transfer.
