Manchester United are serious contenders to sign these two world class stars

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, the Qatari investors hoping to purchase Manchester United wants to make at least two significant additions in order to strengthen Erik ten Hag’s roster this summer.

After inviting bids for their sale, the Glazers’ reign appears to be reaching its conclusion. And it has now been revealed that two serious candidates are battling for this takeover deal.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the second-richest man in Britain, also wants to purchase the club. A lifelong supporter of United, he promises to bring back the Manchester in Manchester United.

Many United supporters would consider him to be the best bidder because of his substantial financial backing. But, Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani poses a severe threat to his dreams.

He is the son of a former prime minister and chairman of the Qatari bank QIB. Also, he has frequently observed mingling with famous people at the World Cup in Qatar, including David Beckham.

But what makes people most curious is his enormous riches. As a member of the governing royal family, whose total net worth is thought to be approximately £280 billion, such a takeover would undoubtedly be extremely divisive.

And the Qatari investor has already targeted two world-class players that he wants to bring to Old Trafford. Jude Bellingham and Victor Osimhen will both be targeted this summer.

The two would each cost well over £100 million, but Al Thani is not likely to be deterred by the transfer fee. Although only 19 years old, Bellingham is recognised as one of the top midfielders in the world. Liverpool appears to be in the lead to land his signature.

But United’s newfound cash and a projected return to the Champions League suddenly elevate them to the status of serious competitors.

It is commonly known that they are interested in signing a new frontline striker. Wout Weghorst has been hired on a temporary basis until the summer.

However, United wants a new well-known star to lead the line in the future. And Osimhen is quickly becoming their preferred pick with 47 goals in 85 games for Napoli. Napoli will try to reject the transfer, but United’s financial power will eventually persuade the Italian club to sell.

If the club signs these two players then they will be a serious contender to win the league trophy for the first time since 2013.
