Arguably Manchester United’s Player of the Season, Bruno Fernandes has again won the Manchester United Player of the Month Award of August. The midfielder has been supreme in his goal contribution since his arrival at Old Trafford in January this year. This is Bruno’s fourth United Player of the Month award and he is already showing the club his value on and off the pitch.
Bruno Fernandes bagged the award with the help of the 48% of votes on the Manchester United Official app. The Portuguese midfielder just edged past Frenchman Anthony Martial, who got 44% of the votes. Fernandes scored two goals in the two matches he played this month, both being the Europa League, against Copenhagen and Sevilla respectively.
His signing has lighted up the entire United side and with him, United have just lost two games since January. Fernandes has also been awarded the top scorer award in this season’s Europa League and has also featured amongst the top assist providers. He is surely one of the best midfielders in the world now but still has a lot to prove at the highest level.
