Manchester United have had a mixed start to the season, as the Red Devils have been great away from home but poor at Old Trafford. The poor performances at home meant that the United manager’s job was under some serious threat. But it is now being reported by The Mirror that the Manchester United back Solskjaer and have no plans to sack him anytime soon.
The United manager has faced constant criticism since the start of this season with several poor results from the team. The rumours of Pochettino replacing Solskjaer are still in the news, as the Norwegian tries to take United to new heights. Though United’s Premier League results have been very mediocre but the Red Devils have done very well in the Champions League.
It has been reported that the United chiefs are still counting on Solskjaer to get the club back to its glory days. The board failed to get the players Solskjaer targeted in the summer but still trust the former United player. But to stay at the helm, Solskjaer will have to motivate the team to grind out more results consistently.
Manchester United have won against the likes of PSG and RB Leipzig, but have also lost against minnows Crystal Palace and Istanbul Basaksehir. Solskjaer will need to instil consistency in his squad if he wants to continue as the manager of Manchester United.
