Manchester United’s lookout for a right-winger this summer has not ended yet as the board has once again shown its incompetence. The Red Devils have been linked with several wingers this season but haven’t signed anyone with only three days left in the transfer window. It is now being reported by ESPN that Manchester United are now being linked to Lucas Ocampos of Sevilla as their right-wing target.
United have failed this transfer window, as even after three months of the transfer window the club has signed only one player. The club still haven’t had a bid for priority signing of Jadon Sancho despite previous reports, which has caused huge frustration amongst the fanbase. But it has also been reported that United haven’t given up in signing a right-winger this summer.
It is now being reported that United have been linked to the likes of Lucas Ocampos of Sevilla. The winger is reportedly valued at about £35m, which is much less than the values of other Sancho or his other alternatives. Ocampos will be expected to be a good player for the Red Devils but Sancho is a much better player than Ocampos.
With only three days left in the transfer window to shut down, Manchester United must do things quickly to have any chance of having Sancho.
