Toby Alderweireld, the name that has been attached with Manchester United in last few weeks. The Spurs defender has been speculated with a £75 million transfer. But according to some reports, the transfer fee has gone down from £75 million to £60 million. The uncertainty of position last season has made the defender snub a new contract.
Given that the transfer fee of Toby is going to reduce with the ongoing season, Spurs are likely to set part with his services. If the North London giants feel they can extend the contract of Toby Alderweireld by one year from June 2019 to June 2020, but only to include a release clause of £25 million into his contract.
Spurs have not had a single signing this transfer window and are likely to sign two players which will open the doors of Toby Alderweireld for Manchester United.
