Manchester United consider selling Dylan Levitt this summer

According to The Sun, Manchester United are looking into the possibility of letting Dylan Levitt leave on a permanent basis.

With recent rumours of interest in the midfielder’s loan services, it now seems possible that any transfer could result in a sale.

After his recent success with Wales, the 21-year-old hasn’t returned to preseason training with United.

The academy graduate may be on his way out of the club before participating in even one training session under Erik ten Hag, despite having indicated a desire to have an opportunity to shine under the new management.

Levitt’s contract with United has one year left after the club recently triggered an extension clause.

This action now appears to have been taken primarily to guarantee the club a transfer price.

A reported sum of merely £300,000 sounds incredibly low after a stellar campaign for Dundee United, where he won player of the year honours and led the Scottish team to fourth place, their best finish in more than ten years.

The rumoured amount would only rank 26th on the list of Dundee United’s previous record transfer exits, underestimating Levitt’s level of accomplishments in Scotland and his status as a full international.

It is unknown what the additional bonuses would say but a sell to the Championship might be more successful in bringing in a transfer price for Manchester United.
