According to ESPN, Manchester United are considered a front-runner in the race to sign Crystal Palace striker Michael Olise this summer.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for the Eagles as he scored seven goals and provided four assists in 16 games this campaign. In total, he has scored about 13 goals and created 23 in 87 appearances for his parent club.
Top English clubs have noticed his spectacular form. Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are being linked with a move for Olise under certain conditions.
United in particular have been heavily linked in recent months as new owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has prioritised signing homegrown players for his squad overhaul plans.
Olise might play for the French national team but he hails from Hammersmith. He is a former Reading academy graduate and has developed himself into a top right-winger for Palace in recent seasons.

It is no secret that Man United have spent millions in signing big names playing in the right-winger spot. However, bearing a few notable names, they have not tasted success in these plans.
Antony is an example of a multi-million signing being a flop under Erik ten Hag. Alejandro Garnacho is said to be a leading contender for the right-wing spot.
But he has fared equally well in the left flank region and the club makes him a regular in that role. Hence, targeting Olise makes sense for the Red Devils.
The Palace attacker has a release clause in his contract which will get triggered at the end of this season. It is said that the youngster will be available for £35 million in the upcoming months.

However, few sources have stated that this fee can rise to £50m-£60m. ESPN earlier claimed that United offered Aaron Wan-Bissaka in a swap deal to help their transfer budget.
But we believe that the 20-time champions won’t hesitate to pay that amount of fee this summer if they can recoup this amount by player sales.
Getting Olise for cheap will help United to stabilise their right-wing spot and also save funds for more transfers. It remains to be seen how will this entire transfer saga unfolds in the next window.
