Wolves star midfielder Ruben Neves has emerged on Manchester United’s transfer radar in the final hours of this summer window with the Old Trafford giants pondering over making a move for the player.
Reports from The Daily Express have suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskajer might be tempted to do some business on deadline day and Neves is one name on his shopping list the United boss could launch a bid for.
There has been a large section of the club’s fanbase which have urged Solskajer to bring in a new defensive midfielder on the back of Fred’s misfiring spell of performences in the centre of the park for the Red Devils.
Neves has been an influential presence on the Wolves teamsheet and his Premier League experience could come in very handy for United who will cherish a new signing in the centre of the park after adding the likes of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo to their ranks this summer.
Solskajer might have his sights on Neves when United squared up against Wolves this past Sunday in a game which was decided right in the dying stages with Mason Greenwood netting the winner for his side.
