Manchester United considering a fresh move for Bayern star Ryan Gravenberch

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch should be the target of a new offer from Manchester United this summer given his dissatisfaction with his lack of playing time.

The Dutchman left Ajax for Bayern for €24.5 million last summer, despite rumours that he would rejoin manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

During the January transfer window, United made another attempt to get him, but the German champions were hesitant to let the talented midfielder go.

Marcel Sabitzer was eventually acquired by the Red Devils on a temporary loan from Bayern. We believe that they ought to resume talks for Gravenberch in the summer.

Gravenberch was a vital member of Ten Hag’s team at Ajax last year. He played as a central midfielder for 42 matches, recording three goals and six assists.

The €30 million-rated player won nearly two tackles, six duels, and 86% of his passes each game. He was virtually always included in the starting lineup.

He hasn’t done much to impress this season, and the lack of playing time is the main reason why. In all tournaments, he has completed a little over 700 minutes.

The 20-year-old claimed in a recent interview that his time at Bayern had not gone as planned and that it was unfortunate that he had not featured more throughout the season.

We won’t be surprised if he attempts to leave this summer, and considering his close relationship with Ten Hag, United ought to be at the door to convince him to move.

He received his debut from Ten Hag in Amsterdam, and the Dutch tactician might play a significant part in luring him, much like Lisandro Martinez and Antony did last summer.
