Manchester United FC have drawn Chelsea in the semi-final stage of the FA Cup. The Red Devils defeated Norwich City FC in the quarter-final stage, whereas Chelsea got past Leicester City FC. This will be the fourth time both the sides meet each other this season, as Lampard will try to seek revenge on Solskjaer.
Manchester United have defeated Chelsea in all the previous three encounters this season and will look to continue their winning streak. Whereas, Chelsea will look to seek revenge for their previous encounters and will take the attack on the Red Devils. The Wembley Stadium will also add to this age-old rivalry between United and Chelsea, as both clubs lock horns again.
The match will be held on either 18th or 19th of July and United play Crystal Place on the 16th. The other teams to have qualified to the semifinals of the FA Cup are Arsenal and Manchester City.
The three times United and Chelsea have crossed paths this season, United have won with an aggregate score of 8-1. Frank Lampard definitely will look to have the upper hand on Solskjaer this time around, as both sides look for silverware. Both the clubs are in good form and will try to get their best players ready for this game.
United are currently on a 14-match unbeaten run and Chelsea are 6-match unbeaten streak and have played well after the break.
