As reported by ESPN, Manchester United have already locked in their target for the summer transfer window and are considering RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko as their next striker.
Even though the Slovenian will join Leipzig at the end of the current campaign, a sizable offer from another team might change his decision. United now has one last opportunity to sign the highly rated striker.
The Red Devils are currently looking to sign a temporary striker on loan and have earmarked Wout Weghorst as their next Ronaldo replacement. However, the loan deal is only a temporary one, and they will need to focus on a permanent target this summer.
The deal has accelerated, but any move will depend on Besiktas’ decision to agree on a compensation fee. Chelsea have also reached an agreement to sign Felix, a player United considered for their bucket list. Along with Sesko, Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Harry Kane of Tottenham are being considered as long-term alternatives.
The English captain will make a decision on his future with Spurs when his contract with the club expires in the summer.
Meanwhile, Osimhen is a target for several clubs, and United would be looking forward to paying an eye-watering sum to lure the striker.
