Manchester United eyeing up swoop for Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing up a swoop for Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic this summer to bolster their attacking lineup which could lose talisman Cristiano Ronaldo before the transfer window slams shut.

Ronaldo’s future remains up in the air despite the 37-year-old forward returning to training after missing United’s pre-season tour due to personal reasons which sparked off intense speculation over his demand to leave Old Trafford.

According to a report from The Daily Mail, it is claimed that an uninspired forward roster has convinced the new United head coach Eric ten Hag to add to his options with the Dutchman keen on moving in for the Stuttgart dangerman Sasa Kalajdzic.

The 6ft 7ins tall Kalajdzic is a viable name on the wishlist for United who could do with a fresh face after Edinson Cavani called it quits earlier in the summer and England international Mason Greenwood remains suspended and unlikely to feature again.

Red Bull Salzburg talisman Benjamin Sesko had been the latest name to emerge on the transfer radar at Old Trafford but the Austrian outfit’s hefty valuation, believed to be in the region of £55 million, could force the Red Devils to scout other names in the transfer market.
