Paul Pogba was great towards the back-end of the last season but hasn’t been great this season. The Frenchman had also suffered from the coronavirus from the beginning of the season, which has hampered his pre-season training with the rest of the squad. It is now reported by Manchester Evening News that United might try to sign Camavinga if the Red Devils sell Pogba next summer.
It was earlier reported that Pogba had reinstated that he wanted to stay at United as he was enjoying football at Old Trafford. But the United fanbase has been disgusted with Pogba’s performances this season and his habit of flirting with a move to Real Madrid. With a year left in his contract and one more available to United if they want, this might be the best time to sell Pogba if the club ever wants to sell him.
It is now reported that the club might go for Eduardo Camavinga if Pogba leaves next summer. Camavinga is 17-years old and has already played for France and even scored a goal in his first start for his country. But signing the Frenchman will not be easy as Juventus and Real Madrid are eager to sign him next summer.
Paul Pogba should be tied down with a contract extension at Manchester United as the Frenchman is one of the best midfielders in the world.
