Premier League giants Manchester United are favourites to sign Juventus star centre-back Gleison Bremer this summer.
The Serie A defender is said to be at the top of the transfer wish list as Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s team wants to attract such big players to Old Trafford.
The former Torino star is valued at €60 million by the Bionconeri. However, the Red Devils could be willing to pay only €50m for Bremer.
The centre-back has been rock-solid for Juve this term with strong performances in the back-line. He has won 1.8 tackles per game and has won 60 per cent of his aerial duels.
Several elite clubs have kept an eye on the player’s progress and they believe that his value will rise even further. The 21-time English champions have been consistently linked with the Brazilian ace for the past few months.

Bremer will be able to play well in a physically challenging league like the Premier League. However, being 27 years old, it would be a risk to spend a huge sum of money on him since he won’t be a long-term investment.
Is Bremer worth the price for Manchester United at this moment?
We believe that Man United could target better players at this price. One option for them is Sporting CP’s Ousmane Diomande.
However, he won’t come cheap with the Portuguese outfit ready to demand anything close to €70-80m for the youngster.
This could still be a risk worth taking since the player is just 20 years old and can develop into a world-beater at Old Trafford in years to come.

Rather than going for big names like Bremer, it would be a smart move to sign players who can contribute even more in the long run.
It will be interesting to see what decision Ratcliffe and INEOS take to strengthen the club’s defence in the much-anticipated summer transfer window.
