Manchester United FC wants their star player Paul Pogba to stay at the club beyond this summer, with the Red Devils excited on pairing the French international alongside new signing Bruno Fernandes in midfield. Pogba has reported back to Manchester United FC training sessions alongside many of his teammates, with the Premier League set to resume from 17th June.
However, for quite a while now, Pogba has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and his ex-club Juventus in the summer, with reports that the player is unhappy at Old Trafford and seeks to move to a new club when the opportunity presents itself.
The Red Devils management feels that it is Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola who is solely responsible for wanting the Frenchman to leave the Premier League club, with a possible lucrative transfer for Pogba ensuring a hefty agent fee for Raiola, who has pocketed vast amounts of money from his client’s transfers in the past. The agent had previously claimed that it was time for Pogba to look elsewhere for a team to play, signalling he could leave The Red Devils in the near future.
Manchester United FC fans are very eager to see the 27-year old Pogba link up with United’s latest recruit Bruno Fernandes in midfield after the pair have been observed engaging in recent training sessions. Fernandes has been a massive star for the Red Devils since signing for them earlier this season.
However, the Portuguese are yet to play alongside Pogba, who has been injured for a majority of United’s current campaign. The French midfielder has only made eight appearances across all competitions for The Red Devils this season.
Before the current Premier League season was suspended by the authorities, Manchester United FC were on a terrific run of form, losing none of their last 11 matches.
And with the resumption of the campaign shortly, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hopeful that his team can replicate the same kind of form and nail down a UEFA Champions League spot ahead of the next season.
